Professional progression abounds at Erskine Murray

We work to the highest professional standards and are fiercely proud of our status as Chartered Insurance Brokers, which is the insurance industry’s gold standard for professional excellence.

The Chartered Insurance Institute’s (CII) rigorous qualification process demands ongoing proof of our continuous development, which is one of our key overriding principles and demonstrated through our investment in people, processes and training.

We actively encourage all our team to engage in their professional development and commit to progressing through the CII’s various qualifications. As such, we are delighted to report that a number of our staff have recently achieved Certificate and Diploma level qualifications, demonstrating their dedication to our industry and commitment to our code of conduct.

Trainee Client Manager, Ethan Ostermeyer, along with Henry Handford, Trainee Claims Handler, have each achieved the CII Certificate in Insurance. This essential entry-level qualification demonstrates they have a good grounding in basic general insurance principles, including the regulatory environment, underwriting and claims, and popular products such as motor, household, healthcare and packaged commercial insurances.

Dave Benson and Maddie Castiglione have achieved the CII Diploma in Insurance, a technical and supervisory qualification, demonstrating their firm understanding of insurance fundamentals and progression towards advanced technical knowledge. Success at this level paves the way towards studying for the CII Advanced Diploma.

It goes without saying, we are hugely proud of our team for their achievements, which demonstrate their ongoing commitment to study and working to the highest professional standards. We have always placed customers at the heart of our business and aim to provide advice of the highest quality, based on the researched needs of our clients. Professional qualifications provide the optimum framework for ensuring our staff remain true to our objectives and are able to deliver at the highest level.

Well done everybody for your achievements. We look forward to the next stage of your professional development and fully support you in all your endeavours. Keep up the good work and keep working to best practice principles.
