We are very excited to welcome Janette Redding to our South-East office, where she will assume an integral role within Professional Indemnity (PI), while helping to build our overall business. Committed to moving our business forward despite the current tough economic conditions, we continue to pursue our programme of onward investment in staff, training and systems, ensuring we bring our customers the very best care, attention, professionalism and expertise - hence the appointment of Janette with her proven track record of delivering exactly this.

As Commercial Account Handler, what does your role involve?

My role is to service PI renewal for a portfolio of clients, building and maintaining long term relationships, while gaining a better understanding of the business needs of all our clients.
On an on-going basis, I will be reviewing and evaluating how we can extend our service to bring further benefit to our client base, at all times providing market leading insurance solutions to meet business requirements that mitigate risk.

I have worked at a senior level for many years, giving me a wealth of experience and an in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by and opportunities available to businesses. In particular, I have experience of improving processes, taking an innovative and creative approach, and have developed good relationship-building skills with clients and external partners. I work well as part of a team and believe the skills I have acquired will assist the Erskine Murray team in their growth journey.

Where did you gain your insurance experience?

I have over 30 years' experience with the insurance market, specialising in Professional Indemnity, with significant broking experience having served the majority of my career with Aon. This has seen me undertaking various roles, including Client Servicing, Team Management, Placement and Proposition and Leadership, successfully growing PI Schemes for Financial Advisers, Accountants and Construction Professionals.

What first attracted you to Erskine Murray?

I was keen to join a well-respected, independent brokerage firm offering me an opportunity that is both exciting and challenging. I believe there is synergy between my experience and Erskine Murray’s vision for growth. Also, I am fortunate to know some of the team in advance and am pleased to be joining and working with them again.

How would you describe your approach to client services?

I work collaboratively with clients to provide and deliver insurance solutions that meet their requirements and mitigate risk. I take pride in servicing clients and would say that honesty and communication are key to my approach, as well as being personable and professional. I have a desire to deliver and will always do my utmost to provide client satisfaction.

How would you describe yourself?

I am an open, honest and confident person, who is approachable, helpful and a team player. I take pride in doing a good job and like to build long-lasting relationships. I believe a good reputation is a priority.

What can clients expect to see from you in the future?
